Terms of Service

Effective and last updated

These terms cover the Message Scheduler Discord bot and dashboard. They explain your responsibilities when scheduling messages, recurring role mentions and related community features.

1. Operator and agreement

Message Scheduler is operated by Silk Web Solutions, an independently run service based in the United Kingdom. Contact Support@silk-websolutions.eu for support or questions.

By choosing to sign in, install the bot or use its features after these terms are made available, you agree to them. If you disagree, do not begin or continue using the service. The Privacy Policy explains data handling; accepting these terms does not give blanket consent to unrelated processing.

You must meet Discord’s minimum age and other applicable requirements, and be authorised to act for any server or organisation you manage. This service is independently operated and is not endorsed by Discord.

2. Accounts and server authority

Use your own authorised Discord account, protect account and dashboard credentials, and manage only servers, channels and roles you are permitted to administer. Discord login does not automatically confer access to every server or function.

Keep bot permissions appropriate for the features you need. Report suspected compromise or incorrect access promptly. We may verify your identity or server authority before changing access or responding to a sensitive support request.

3. Scheduling and repeated mentions

You control the message, destination channel, selected roles, start time and repeat settings. Review them before enabling a schedule. You are responsible for the content and the impact of notifications sent according to your instructions.

Recurring schedules may continue until paused, deleted or stopped by their configured limit. Do not assume closing the browser or logging out stops them. Manage schedules in the dashboard or request help if you cannot access them.

Make sure recurring notifications are appropriate for the destination community. Only mention roles you are authorised to use, and avoid unwanted or excessive pings. Do not put passwords, tokens or unnecessarily sensitive personal information in messages or templates.

4. Acceptable use

We may apply reasonable usage limits or pause abusive activity. Authorised security testing requires prior agreement about its scope.

5. Content and optional features

You retain rights in content you provide. You give us the limited permission needed to store, process and send it through the features you request. You must have the rights and authority needed to submit information about other people.

Optional calendars, share links, birthdays and community records should be enabled only for an appropriate purpose. Public calendars or share links can expose selected information beyond the dashboard. Review what will be visible before sharing it.

These terms do not transfer ownership of your content or remove rights under applicable software licences.

6. Delivery and availability

Messages are scheduled according to your chosen settings, but exact delivery time and successful delivery are not guaranteed. Discord outages, rate limits, missing permissions, deleted channels, role changes, network faults or maintenance may delay or prevent a message.

Check time-zone and repeat settings and verify important messages. Do not rely on this service for emergency communications or other safety-critical notifications. Keep a separate copy of important content or schedules.

There is no guaranteed uptime or support response time unless separately agreed in writing. This does not remove obligations or remedies required by law.

7. Privacy and third parties

The Message Scheduler Privacy Policy explains Discord sign-in data, schedules, browser storage, sharing, retention and deletion requests. Discord and other connected providers operate under their own terms and policies.

Messages delivered to Discord are visible according to the destination channel’s permissions. Removing our records does not automatically remove messages already sent or copies held by other people.

8. Any paid features

If paid features are introduced, pricing, renewal, cancellation and applicable refund terms must be disclosed before purchase. These terms do not create a fee or subscription by themselves. Mandatory consumer rights remain in place.

9. Stopping use and suspension

You may pause or delete your schedules, revoke the application in Discord, remove the bot from a server or stop using the dashboard. Contact Support@silk-websolutions.eu for account closure or data deletion. Revoking access or removing the bot does not automatically delete all stored records.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, compromised credentials, permission problems, security risks or legal requirements. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow you to respond; urgent risks may require immediate action.

10. Responsibility and disputes

You are responsible for the schedules, content and permissions you authorise and for your own unlawful conduct. We remain responsible for duties imposed on us by applicable law. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or limits mandatory consumer protections.

Contact Support@silk-websolutions.eu with a dispute so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not require mandatory arbitration or restrict access to a court or regulator permitted by applicable law.

11. Changes and new features

The date above identifies the current version. Material changes affecting existing users will be communicated appropriately and will not retrospectively remove accrued rights. If you disagree with a material change, you may stop using the affected feature, subject to any existing agreement and mandatory rights.

A feature with materially different data use must have appropriate privacy information before that use begins.
